<p style="text-align:center;"><strong> Colchester has a terrific past and a great future and our regular tour of Colchester &#8211; from Camulodunum  to Colchester - has received a make over to reflect the rapid, exciting and sometimes controversial changes occurring in our great town</strong></p>
<p style="text-align:left;">you will see  firstsite, the recently opened arts venue,  the 10th Century St Botolph&#8217;s Priory ruins, and narrow shopping lanes which follow the street lines of the original Roman Town, jostling with smart up to date shopping centres. Colchester is stuffed  with medieval churches, houses of all periods and the best preserved Roman gateway in Britain. You will view  the outstanding 1902 Town Hall, the historic Dutch Quarter,  one of the top award winning parks in Britain &#8211; Castle Park &#8211; dominated by Colchester Castle Keep the largest in Northern Europe. Built on top of the foundations of the Temple of Claudius  it is now one of Colchester&#8217;s museums. (<em>A visit  and a guided tour is a must)</em>  It is here that the tour ends opposite the Visitor Information Centre where you booked your tickets.</p>
<p style="text-align:left;"><strong>March &#8211; June:</strong> Saturdays 11.00 am       Bank Holiday Mondays 2.00pm (<em>No tour 7th May)     </em><strong> July - August:</strong> Monday - Saturday 11.00 am, Sunday 2.00pm     <strong>September</strong> Saturdays only 11.00 am <em>(No tour 8th Sept)</em></p>

<p style="text-align:left;">As you walk the pretty streets of Dedham with your guide , you will discover more about the ancient buildings, the magnificent church and the famous people of the village including artists John Constable and Sir Alfred Munnings</p>
<p style="text-align:center;">Starting at Dedham Car Park at <strong>2.00 pm</strong>, the tours last about one and a half hours with a walking distance of about 2.5 miles &#8211; mainly on pavements.</p>
<p style="text-align:center;">The tours run on the following afternoons:</p>
<p style="text-align:center;">Wednesday <strong>9th May</strong>; Saturday <strong>26th May</strong>; Saturday <strong>23rd June</strong>; Wednesday <strong>11th July</strong>; Saturday <strong>28th July</strong>, Saturday<strong> 11th August</strong>; Wednesday <strong>22nd August</strong>; Saturday <strong>15th September</strong></p>
